Meet our Providers

Dr. Jennifer Shoquist is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a special focus on women’s health. She provides care for patients ranging from age fifteen through senior years. A longtime resident of Newport Beach, California, she has lived in the area for over 20 years.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Shoquist earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her residency at Memorial Family Practice at Memorial Southwest Hospital, also in Houston. She chose Family Medicine because it allows her to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and support them across all stages of life.

Dr. Shoquist is passionate about helping individuals take a proactive approach to their health. In addition to her clinical work, she has co-authored several health-related nonfiction books, including Migraines For Dummies and Potty Training For Dummies.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys Pilates, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs.
